Lisa oversees Aurora’s securities trading and operations functions. She is a member of the investment committee, helping determine client asset allocations and conducting securities research to inform the firm’s portfolio construction for clients. Lisa also is responsible for creating and maintaining Aurora’s proprietary trading and rebalancing software. As head of operations, Lisa acts as the interface between the Wellesley office’s asset management clients and their custodians, reconciles all client trades, and responds to all asset management client requests. Lisa is a Series 7 and 66 registered investment advisor. She received her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont and her MBA from Babson College.
Lisa has over 20 years of quantitative research experience in the investment field as well as extensive experience in operations management. She spent 12 years at MFS Investment Management in Boston where she worked for the Director of Quantitative Research. There she designed, built, and implemented backtesting software and then performed a 25 year back study on the importance of dividends to investment returns. Additionally, Lisa also conducted portfolio analysis and construction for private clients. During her time at MFS, she also was Director of Equity Technology and Research Operations where she managed a team of professionals that provided technology solutions to the Equity Research and Trading department.
After leaving MFS, Lisa worked as a Quantitative Research Analyst at Innovative Quant Solutions, LLC and most recently, was a registered sales associate at Raymond James & Associates.
Lisa is a dedicated athlete having run marathons (including 5 Boston Marathons) and competed in Ironman events.
