Clients are often faced with a significant investment decision: perhaps it is the purchase of the primary residence, or a second home, or investment in a business. As part of our services, we will work with a client to assure them that such non-financial investments are sound and that they have taken all of the necessary factors into account.

For instance, in buying or selling property, depending, of course, on the size of the transaction, we will work though a check list with the client that might involve researching the property market in a particular geography, devising a financing structure, looking at sources of finance, and helping the client understand how this purchase will alter their longer-term financial position. Or maybe a client is looking to sell its business interest. There we might assist with preparing or advising on options for the sale, or structuring a succession strategy where it is closely held.
