Aurora’s comprehensive financial plan for you begins with the preparation of your Balance Sheet and a Cash Flow and Budgeting analysis of your financial life.
We begin with a listing of all of your assets, both financial and non-financial. This list is exhaustive and can include such items as property, cars, boats, stocks, private business holdings, antiques, art, etc. We then compile a list of your liabilities, including such items as mortgages, student loans, car loans, outstanding credit card bills, etc. In addition to these legal liabilities we also include your obligations—liabilities that may arise in the future that you feel obligated to fund, like your children’s college education for example.
This inventory of assets and liabilities will generate a household net worth. This, in combination with the Cash Flow and Budgeting will inform our analysis of how you will be able to live your financial future.
